Proximity Dubai created ownable, compelling foundational guidelines to help drive the strategy and individual touchpoints necessary to highlight Dubai. The work included a global brand launch campaign, partnership initiatives, internal communications, and an end-to-end travel decision journey digital platform.
An updated, responsive web experience showed Dubai’s unparalleled breadth and depth at a glance. A dynamic and intuitive engine served content based on the user’s location, interests, preferences and browsing history. In Dubai, the mobile app helped travelers make the most of their trip – with personalized recommendations based on the time of day, location, and traveler’s interests. Initial results showed a 79% increase in desktop site visits, 29% increase in overall mentions and 20% increase over industry mean in digital Share of Voice. Proximity Dubai also won a 2016 IAC Award for Best Travel Website, was included on the 2016 SKIFT list of the Top 25 Best Tourism Websites, and was named a 2015 WEBBY honoree in the category of Travel & Tourism Websites.
